Schedule Your JJFit RunFit Assessment Before Training for Your Next Event

Whether you’re a veteran runner with several events under your belt or you’re considering your first 10k, half marathon or full marathon a gate and mobility assessment might be a wise investment to avoid injury and improve performance. I’ve prepared and trained dozens of clients for a variety of events from their first 5k to a Spartan and even an Iron Man and ultra marathon. If you’d like to improve your performance, manage existing injuries, reduce pain and prevent future injuries a run assessment can help.

During this 50-minute session conducted at my FiDi studio or virtually we’ll:

  1. Review your running or event goals and ensure you have a safe and effective training program to follow.

  2. Assess your joints and muscles through a Functional Movement Screen to measure your range of motion and to identify compensations that could lead to pain and injuries. 

  3. Video and analyze your gate to determine which activation drills and strength training exercises would best benefit you to reduce pain and injury and to improve performance.

  4. Develop an appropriate and practical warm up and cool down program to support your running volume.  

  5. Discuss nutritional needs to support your training goals. 

  6. Provide additional resources and referrals for professional shoe fitting, V02 testing, body composition, chiropractic, physical therapy or other medical professional partners if needed.
