Massage & Bodywork
Regular therapeutic massage plays a vital role in my clients' physical and mental health and is a pillar in a strong fitness foundation along with exercise and nutrition. I am a graduate of the San Francisco School of Massage & Bodywork where I completed a 600-hour certification program and successfully passed the Massage & Bodywork Licensing Examination (MBLEx). I am a Certified Massage Therapist (CMT 74496) through the California Massage Therapy Council (CMTC). I also completed an internship with SF Custom Chiropractic under the direction of Dr. Adam Jacobs.
Rather than focusing on individual body parts or providing a generic "routine", I take an integrated approach to bodywork that is 100% customized to the client's needs. I help clients improve pain, mobility and performance by incorporating a variety of techniques and modalities including myofascial release, deep tissue, trigger point, sports massage and Swedish. Each session begins and ends with a thoughtful assessment and check in to ensure effectiveness, comfort and improvement. I cull from my years of experience as a successful personal trainer to provide my massage clients guidance and recommendations for stretches, mobility work and strengthening exercises to perform between massage sessions. I am passionate about what I do and that each of my clients gets the care they need. 95% of my new clients rebook after their first session.
How to Schedule and Rates
I practice on Tuesdays and Saturdays in a professional, private massage studio located in the Flood Building at 870 Market Street #455.
